The Champaign-Urbana Computer Users Group was formed in 1983 to promote computing and education for users of personal computers. We currently support Macintosh, Windows and Linux personal computers. The group continues to be very active and successful, with members from all around east-central Illinois.

Informative Club Meetings Held Monthly

We hold our meetings generally the third Thursday of each month at the First Baptist Church of Champaign/Savoy which is located at the corner of Prospect and Burwash in Savoy. Monthly presentations, talks or "socials" allow our members to share knowledge and help each other with problems and issues. The Linux SIG meets at 6:15pm and the general meeting begins at 7:00pm followed by the Macintosh and Windows SIGs. A great deal of information is shared at CUCUG meetings!

High Quality Newsletter

The CUCUG Status Register is the monthly newsletter of the organization and is read by computer enthusiasts from around the globe. It is chock-full of hints, tips, breaking computer news and much more. Members automatically receive the newsletter via e-mail every month.

Interactive Member-Only BBS-Style Forum

The Starship CUCUG II Forum is THE place to get immediate answers to your computer-related questions and keep up-to-date on all the exciting computer developments in the Central Illinois area.
